Unlike traditional deal sourcing channels, B Generous shares in the underwriting risk for all loans in our marketplace.
If your institution conducts a full credit review and declines a submission based on credit factors and issues a compliant adverse action notice then we reimburse you up to $1,500 for your underwriting costs per each loan.

We believe nonprofit borrowers deserve fair and predictable pricing.
Origination fees in the marketplace are capped at 0.5% to protect borrower economics and ensure sustainable lending relationships. Importantly, your institution retains 100% of the origination fee. B Generous does not participate in or share in that fee at all. The cap simply establishes a consistent, borrower-friendly standard across the marketplace.
This structure protects nonprofit economics, reinforces trust in our lending marketplace, and supports long-term relationship banking, while preserving the full origination fee for your institution. It is part of our commitment to creating a disciplined, reputation-enhancing credit marketplace that benefits both financial institutions and the nonprofit sector.
Since launching our Nonprofit Lending Marketplace at the start of 2024, we have received over $1 billion in loan requests from over 30,000 nonprofits, and we have already approved around $100 million in loans. We have a 0% default rate for loans that meet our marketplace credit criteria.
