Backed by some of the world’s leading socially responsible banks, VC investors, and multi-family offices, B Generous is now seeking a highly motivated intern to support our partnerships team. This role will be instrumental in launching and managing key partnership programs, including our inaugural loan broker program, bank and lender outreach, minority community engagement, and service provider referral networks. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational and project management skills with excellent communication abilities and a passion for building impactful relationships.
You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage your time and be a “people person” with strong networking and organizational management skills, as well as social skills, and be highly self-motivated and be able to self-regulate in a remote environment and have a basic knowledge of accounting, credit and lending, and nonprofits (or the ability to learn fast).
While this is an intern level role initially, there may be opportunity to advance into a full time, salaried role upon consistent successful performance. A minimum commitment of 25 hours per week is expected.

Duties & Responsibilities
Help Launch the Loan Broker Program
- Help build B Generous’ first loan broker program from concept to execution, including developing marketing collateral, designing a landing page, creating onboarding documentation, and establishing communication channels.
- Review and refine broker partnership agreements to align with company objectives and compliance standards.
- Oversee program implementation and ongoing management to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Bank Outreach and Relationship Development
- Help manage targeted email campaigns to identify and engage new bank partners for the B Generous lending marketplace.
- Maintain systematic follow-up processes to build long-term partnerships with lending institutions.
Commercial Lender Partnership Search
- Identify and secure relationships with commercial business lenders to handle loan applications outside B Generous’ nonprofit funding scope.
- Conduct due diligence on potential partners and recommend viable candidates to leadership.
Minority Community Partnership Development
- Lead outreach efforts to minority-focused nonprofit trade groups, with an emphasis on the African American community, to expand access to loan capital for minority led nonprofits
- Create and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships that align with B Generous’ mission to serve underserved communities.
Nonprofit Service Provider Network Expansion
- Help build partnerships with nonprofit accounting firms, insurance companies, and other service providers to establish a mutual referral network.
- Coordinate joint initiatives that create value for both B Generous and its partners.
Public Nonprofit Referral Program
- Help design and manage a public referral system where individuals receive compensation for referring nonprofits to the B Generous marketplace
- Develop program rules, tracking systems, and payment processes to ensure smooth execution and compliance.

Experience (required)
For this internship position, candidates must possess strong partnership development and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders including banks, commercial lenders, minority-serving organizations, nonprofit service providers, and independent brokers. The role requires project management experience, as the intern will be responsible for helping launch new partnership programs, managing outreach initiatives, and overseeing referral programs.
Proficiency in business communication, including drafting outreach emails, creating marketing collateral, and preparing onboarding documentation, is essential. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable using online tools and CRM systems to track outreach efforts, manage partner data, and measure program performance.
Experience (required)
Partnership Development: Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with external stakeholders such as lenders, brokers, community organizations, and service providers.
Program Management: Experience in designing, launching, and managing multi-faceted programs, from marketing material creation to process oversight.
Outreach & Networking: Skilled in executing outreach campaigns via email, events, and relationship-building efforts to generate new leads and partnerships.
Marketing Support: Ability to assist in developing collateral, website landing pages, and promotional packets to support partnership initiatives.
Community Engagement: Understanding of outreach strategies for minority-serving organizations and the ability to build mission-aligned collaborations.
Business Operations: Comfortable reviewing and managing agreements, onboarding materials, and operational documents for accuracy and compliance.
Organizational Skills: Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to engage a diverse range of partners and convey value propositions clearly.
